I am still enjoying whitetail deer steaks from this fall. They are some on the best steaks I have ever had. I just sprinkle some Montreal steak spice on them and cook them rare.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is launching its 2013 Black Bear Lottery at the beginning of next month. We hope that you will help spread the word to get avid hunters to sign up for the lottery to have a chance to win one of DNRâs 2013 Bear Hunting Permits.

I saw this huge rabbit in the middle of downtown Edmonton on Whyte street. I was impressed at his stature so I took a pic.
This year the 28th annual Boone and Crockett Club’s big game awards will be on July 17th-20th in Reno, Nevada.
To reaffirm the success of this system, known as the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, the Boone and Crockett Club hosts a triennial trophy display and awards banquet. Its purpose is to honor the trophies that are the result of sustainable use conservation, and the fair chase sportsmen who were fortunate enough to have taken some of the highest-ranking trophies over the previous three years.
