Swarovski Optik Ballistic Turret
Firearms, munitions and optical instruments alike have all become far more accurate in recent years. The result is that long-range shots are technically possible. Nevertheless, the requirements on the hunter are high and, in addition to accurate determination of the distance, this calls for solutions which provide an accurate aiming point and thus enable specific long-range target shots. We’ve seen the popularity of long range shooting features soar over the past few years, especially when it comes to long range reticles. There are those of us however who prefer to use a turret system rather than a reticle. The SWAROVSKI OPTIK ballistic turret (BT) allows you to “stay on the mark” when shooting at various downrange distances.
EASY, ACCURATE AND PRACTICAL
- You can assemble the ballistic turret yourself in a few easy steps, customizing it to any caliber and load combination.
- There are four main downrange yardage markers on the turret as well as small markers for those “in between” distances.
- You determine what downrange distances you want and can change them easily at any time yourself.
- Swarovski Optik’s own specially developed ballistics program will calculate for you the necessary values (number of clicks) for the distances you desire.
- Unlike a ballistic reticle, you don’t have to worry about what power your scope is set on for the system to be accurate.
- Simply turn the turret to the desired downrange distance marker and hold on the main crosshair.

Ballistic Programs
The ballistic programs from Swarovski Optik provide you with software tailored precisely to a hunter’s requirements.
The ballistic programs support our distance reticles (BR, TDS) when determining individual aiming points.
Using the separate ballistic program for our ballistic turret (BT), it is also possible to determine the correction values necessary for the sight-in distances you desire.
