Bust on Limited Entry Hunting Draws

For the second straight hunting season I got NIL as a result of putting in seven limited entry hunting draws. At least I have a small chance at drawing some tags in Alberta, a very small chance. Luckily I live in British Columbia where there is many general open season oppertunities. I will probably focus September on high country mule deer and elk. Then in October I will tag along my buddy who drew a coveted archery Roosevelt elk draw while I try to tag a blacktail buck. I might try for a spike fork moose somewhere in the interior during October and spend November looking for  rutting mule deer and whitetail bucks. I guess it is not so bad to come up empty handed in the draw when you live in British Columbia as there is ample oppertunity to hunt in the general open season.
